ABOUT US
Cŵlbox began in 2018 when husband and wife team, Jody and Rhiannon, left city life in Cardiff to follow their dream of running a food truck by the sea. Starting from a vintage horse box on Saundersfoot Beach, they quickly became a local favourite, eventually topping Tripadvisor as the #1 restaurant in Saundersfoot.
Passionate about global flavours, they love cooking dishes inspired by Mexican, Italian, and Asian cuisines, using fresh, local seafood and ingredients wherever possible.
After leaving the beach due to sustainability concerns and later facing planning challenges at a new site, they’ve continued to share their food through pop-ups and residencies across Wales – from Tenby and Cardiff to Pontyclun and Llansteffan.
While they search for a new permanent home, Cŵlbox will keep popping up in exciting venues – bringing their bold, globally inspired street food to new and returning fans alike.
